I thought this was a lovely piece of writing from you. I was particulary impressed with the mentioning of these lines from Genesis 1:1 NIV.....

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth"

Is this a prayer? I would love to read more of this Genesis 1:1 NIV. I know this was read out by the astronaughts as they circled the Earth in the Apollo missions. If you have the full prayer, I would love to read it.

I came across your writing in the random read and review selection. I thought this story was short and sweet. I wasn't sure how the story would unfold with such a good start and theme. I thought there may have been emotions running high with memories and flash backs. But the couple were more bothered by their condition over the years gone by. Good grammar and good font used here.
