Hello Sandra!

This was a great entry for songs, movies, and more! Oh My! contest. This was a little story about Christine at a camp.

You fit all the titles in nicely and the story was a great read!

Hello Megan!

I am not too hip on metaphors in poems or stories because they always seem to fly right over my head. I am a more of a say what you mean, literal, type of person. I caught this one though! The ogre is Phoebe's tragic leukemia and Jack is there protecting and looking over his little sister. Of course I could be completely wrong about the ogre being a metaphor at all. This could have just been a fairy tale type of poem. Either way, this was very well done!

I hope that when and if Phoebe and Jack find out about this poem, that they absolutely love it!

Hello Maryann!

There is nothing I enjoy more quite like a good list. This was a very well done list. At very first glance, I noticed that it was very pleasing to just look at. Being the list lover that I am, I was very pleased with the looks. The list was actually longer than I had imagined and I loved the smiley faces. That added a nice, happy touch to an already happy instance of giving awardicons.

Hello Borgy!

This has really good potential to be a nice little poem about autumn. However you have it reading as a little paragraph. In order for it to fall more into the poetry category, you should have lines and take out some words. It does not necessarily have to rhyme to be considered a poem but it should be in a different kind of format.

Hello Bruce!

You did exceptionally well with this little piece. This is exactly how a dog would act and definitely how a dog would think.

I believe that this would be more fitting if it was listed as a monologue because this was from the dog's perspective as he talked.

Hello Tim!

What a very wonderful poem that tells exactly just how you feel about your girlfriend. The wording in this, actually almost made me feel the same way about your girlfriend. Really, I am kidding there but I definitely have felt exactly like that about a certain individual in my life.

My favorite part was the simile: Like a crystal blue, exotic day,
Forever unblemished and sparkling

Hello Whitemorn!

This was quite enjoyable to read. As I read this I actually thought of it as a song. Given the content, it is a safe bet that it would in fact be a country song. I could totally see that!

I loved the story of Skully. I could see him quite well with the descriptions. 6'10? Woo! He sure was bigger than anybody that I have ever known! Skully was definitely somebody you would not want to mess with.

Hello Cat!

This started out fantastic, with a terrific memory of your mother dancing around, being carefree. Then suddenly the mood shifted to your mothers change in personality and appearance and how she just was not the same at all any more.

I was able to feel the emotions as I read this. Both the good and bad emotions.

Hello Keaton!

This was a very interesting poem. As I was reading it, I thought that perhaps it was a metaphor poem about something such as racism. Then as I reached the ending, I realized that it was not. Just a silly kind of poem about different names of a body part. You could have made it a metaphor poem though if you chose to do so.

I enjoyed the read. It was definitely very unique.

Hello Micah!

I really quite enjoyed this free verse poem. When I was reading this, I was practically able to see all of the things described: The cloudy night sky, the fog, and the moon. I was practically able to feel the cool, crisp air. I was able to see the animals, fog. I was able to hear the dogs barking, and the best of all is feeling the warmth of the coffee and tasting the delightfulness ff it. Fabulous use of the senses!

Hello Wastor!

This was really good. The story kept me hanging on. I was actually hoping that more happened but where my mind was taking me as I read this, just does not seem to happen in daily life much.

There only mistake that I encountered was: "It is definitely a proclivity of mine! Does anyone else remember the scene in 9 1/2 weeks were Kim Bassinger dresses up?" The word "were" should be "where"

Hello Daniel!

Quite a very sad poem this was about an aborted fetus. I could definitely feel the emotions within here. To have them die in such a way with no say or nothing beneficial to them at all is just horrible.

I did not think that it was necessary at all though, to mention at the end of the actual poem about how it was written. Just the poem there would have been plenty.

Hello Stripes!

This poem describes just perfectly what it is like to have a loving pet. More specifically a dog. The wagging of the tail and the licking of your face after you returning home is something that a loving canine definitely is known for. In such a short amount of time, you have captured everything quite well.

Hello Story Weaver!

After reading this poem, I must say that now I want a sundae with all of the goodies mentioned! Fantastic descriptions that made my mouth water.

I only have one suggestion. You said: "And its delightfully cold taste" Cold does not really go with taste since cold is a feeling and not a flavor.

Hello Tim!

This poem describes perfectly about a good relationship. Honor, restraint, hurt, but yet remaining loyal and sticking it through the good times and the bad are perfect ingredients for a great relationship.

I really loved the rhyme and rhythm of this. It flowed smoothly and effortlessly. Perfect all around!

Hello Humming Bird!

This poem was very well written and described your mistrust of females with the confusion, pain, and mistrust they have caused you.. It was very well put together and made me feel what you felt while writing this.

I know that a great deal of females can be like that although there are some males that are more like females than actual females are. I just ended a relationship with one of those said males. Nothing but drama and mind games with that one. Just like a lot of females bring.

On the rare occurrence there are actually females that are the complete opposite of that. One of them is reviewing this poem right now as a matter of fact. *Bigsmile*

Hello Beck!

This was definitely hilarious but there are a few things that I personally think should be mentioned. Like:

Somebody should not park in a handicap parking spot unless they are handicapped. When entering the store, a person should pay attention and enter the door that says enter. When getting ready to leave, put the cart into the cart corral.

I get aisle rage so very often when I'm at the stores. People sure do seem to lack common sense. It really is not that common!

Fantastic piece and I do not see any type of error.

Hello Robin!

I just love when I stumble upon something like this! It was definitely quite hilarious!

You have told this story of a modern family christmas quite well. I could picture it happening for sure. A teenager gabbing on the phone and embarrassed by her mother, at first. Then everybody was singing, all cheerful.

Hello Arakun!

I just love this poem! It had a fantastic rhythm and rhyme with a great rhyme!

As I read this, I was expecting it to be dark but I was surprised at the end when I saw that it was really just a lighthearted poem about trick or treaters!

Hello Aundia!

As I read this poem, thought about all of the old black and white photos that my mother has on the living room wall of our ancestors. For some of them, she only knows of names of the people. None of them look really happy either. This poem reminded me about those pictures. Were they all really as unhappy as they all look? What kinds of things did they do? What made them who they are? This poem made me think all of that!

Fantastic job!

Hello Kay-Leigh!

I have never read something that was so in depth on a name. I also certainly have never heard of a baby going so long without a name. I did not know such a thing was even possible at all.

I liked how you went through a brief family history. Your mother is something like a super hero to raise children at that age. I could not imagine doing something like that at that age.

All this was just fantastic to read!

Hello Awesomeness!

first of all, I would like to say before I even started reading this poem, I was just loving the look of it with every stanza as a different color. Very eye catching!

Secondly, as I read this, I felt very strong sadness for the man, having an unrequited love. The poem was very descriptive and told just how it was for him to love someone at first sight and not getting the same thing in return.

Hello Lillyrose!

The title of this poem, instantly make me think of an Alice In Chains song called "Love Hate Love" by Alice in Chains and the description made me think of the songs "love or confusion" by Jimi Hendrix and "Love Hate sex Pain" by Godsmack.

The poem itself, put me in the same boat. I have been there. Do I love him or am I just annoyed by everything that he does? You have described the push and pull feelings of certain relationships quite well.

Hello Power Unit!

I love limericks, so when I saw this title, I has to come take a look.

These limericks were very funny! Fantastic content as well.

The syllables were slightly off. Not too bad though. In the first one, the fifth line needs just one more syllable. In the second one, the second line needs just one more syllable. Then in the last one, the last line needs just one more syllable.
