Member 3/3 for Task #3 ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: 06-Feb-2026 6:26 am From: ruwth <ruwth@Writing.Com> To: wiesblaize@Writing.Com Subject: WakeUpAndLive~lifestyle change, I have chosen you as one of the people for my Task #3 of "26 Paychecks " . So, let's see what I find as I explore your Writing.Com Tabs. Portfolio Tab Well, the first thing I noticed is the image of veggies, fruits, and nuts. I find myself wondering if you posted this image as you began the "lifestyle change" mentioned in your handle. It delights me to see you express how proud you are of your Portfolio. As I read, "My work is everything to me." it meant a lot. You linked "The Advisor is IN" at the bottom of your Bio-Block. I have not posted there but I have read many of your postings. As I looked at the main page of your Portfolio, I saw this: Very Impressive! I am envious. I wish I was able to get myself to submit my own work for publication. I am too chicken (so I see you as brave!). What do you mean "wies blaize aka Petra" Review Tab The image on this Tab is classy and artsy. What you have written there is confusing to me. What do these words mean: #19 PR June 2016. #29 PR July 2016. #10 PR August 2016. Newbies Academy Reviewing Classroom, Winner June 2016. First Place The Newbie Academy Review Contest June 2016. Second Place "The Newbie Academy Review Contest " July and Aug 2016. #9 PR Sept 2016.#20 PR Oct 2016. I couldn't figure it out. I can identify with what you said about not reviewing works over 2000 words. You are 3/3 of the people I have chosen for my Task #3. I am worn out and not doing as well with this one. I'm sorry. One thing you don't have on this Tab is a TRINKET. I love Trinkets and I do have one on my Review Tab. I will have to wait til I get to your Community Tab to check out your Trinkets, eh? —I also include this Trinket in my reviews: Biography Tab I appreciate seeing a picture of the real you and your dog here. Of course, I am assuming it is you. Online, we never know, do we? There are pics of me scattered throughout my Portfolio. I have a picture of me sky-diving on my Biography Tab—and I have Trinkets. You start your "About Me" section with these words: "I wake up every morning, glad to be alive." Does that stem from being a cancer survivor or has that always been your attitude? Whichever, it is a great way to start the day. You also wrote: "This site is the best that ever happened to me". This site is a wonderful online writing community, isn't it. StoryMaster has created and maintained something impressive. It is a safe haven for writers—I started to say "like us" but I am not in your league at all. Your Yogi Berra quote is giving me food for thought. My life has been a series of failures. Did you realize that you can also put "Recommended Items" on your Biography Tab. Check mine if you want to see what I mean. Notebook Tab I laughed out loud when I saw the image on your Notebook Tab. The top note I saw just now is from January 25th: "Note: I've added a new entry to my book, [Link To I..." I will have to check that out after I finish my own Task. The giphe on this note is definitely eye-catching: "Note: There is a year-round challenge in town! Former..." Not sure i agree with "Easy, Peasy". This task has proven challenging for me. Enlightening, but not easy, peasy at all. I do appreciate the benefit of writing these emails as difficult as I find it. This task solidifies my impressions and makes the experience more memorable. As I peruse your Notebook Tab, I see lots of entries to "All fingers and thumbs". I suspect I am headed there next... Blog I was WRONG!!! Well, let me see what you have in "Blog @ Work 2nd Edition" . I will have to check out "All fingers and thumbs " later. (Well, I guess I will see it when I go to—I just realized that the top note on your Notebook Tab is for Task #2—not THIS task. We'll, feel free to review my Tabs for Task #3. Anyways, back to your Blog... I have some other comments but I just noticed I put I am also diabetic with really bad numbers and trying to make changes. You are likely doung better than I am. Are you using a continuous glucose monitor? I used one in the months leading up to my shoulder surgery and reigned in my A1C very quickly. I started using one again this past December and it is helping me to be more mindful of what is going on in my body (although, this time all my normal patterns have gone crazy). Best wishes for you in that endeavor. Oh my goodness, the info in that drop note is impressive. The information in your introductory paragraph gives a newcomer to your port some information about you. The layout isn't flashy but you authentically share yourself with your readers. I like the way you have chosen to display the things at the bottom of the page (above the dropnote) in a smaller size. That works very well. Folks get to see the images and badges and such without them being overwhelming and distracting. I want to keep that in mind for myself down the road. I just looked at your Blog using "Archive" and noted you use your Titles well. I just dropped another Speaking of titles, I appreciate the links to your other books items and I noticed those titles can draw folks in. Not so much with "Blog @ Work. Of course, if you changed the title to this one, you would probably want to change the title to your first Blog as well. Is it still in your Port? Yes, it is. (Duh, you link it in your first paragraph on this blog.) AND your last entry over there sends folks here. I take it back, no title change needed. You have a following with "Blog @ Work" and that's what matters, eh? Community and Fans I am struggling to keep going so I am putting these two Tabs together. I did notice this Trinket: It made me wonder: are you Sylvia Plath? No. Google showed me a bit about Sylvia Plath. I thought it was you. Now I wonder. I looked through the list of things and authors you have fanned. We share many of the same interests. I have more things favorited than fanned. How about you? Do you have some favorites that don't show up on your fanned lost? I bet you do. Anyways, that covers all your visible Tabs and concludes my Task #3. Visiting your port for this task has caused me to think about making some changes to mine.
