Good Afternoon Everyone. Meet Yellow Rose Author Icon I have to say that a Sweeter person cannot be found anywhere on Earth or Heaven. Her love for humanity was far more than anyone I've ever met. A Sweet, Sweet woman. Please stop and say hello.
So sorry to hear about Yellow Rose passing, Jim!
My heartfelt condolences to you and her family.
I'm sorry for your loss, from the sounds of it, she sounded like a wonderful woman
I remember when she was always heading the Reviewers List! *Smile*
Nice to see a photo of her, thanks, Jim.

ONE Week, just one week. What am I talking about? Back Surgery one week from today to correct a badly pinched nerve. The nerve that exits at the L5 Vertebrae is pinched pretty good. That wasn't noted during the October surgery. So I guess the surgeon plans to remove the disk material at L5, place a spacer between L5 & S1. He also plans to put pins in L5 & S1, and a rod to hold them apart so the nerve can't be pinched in any way. I'd love for them to do something about the cracked T12, but hell, that happened in July 2023, and it's healed well, according to several doctors.

Anymore, I find I can't go more than three days without taking that Corticosteroid Dexamethasone. I have permission from my Oncologist to take it twice a week, otherwise I'd not take it, and just bear it. I will still make the daily post in "Smile! (Groan?) You Know You Love These! on Wednesday. I'm not sure I'll be able to complete all 5 challenges that day. Only time will tell. One things for sure. I will do what I can, and if rest is what I do, so be it.
Dear God, please help Jim Author Iconheal completely, guide the medical people, and reduce or eliminate the pain in Jesus' name, amen.
Wishing you the best.

I started posting cartoons, graphics, meme's (whatever the heck you want to call them on December 20th, 2018 in "Smile! (Groan?) You Know You Love These!! Some have been posted more than once, such as a couple of my favorites,
This is a repeat, and my favorite illusion

or this one, (I couldn't find the cartoon of Achilles Heels).
This one is cute

In May 2022 I added music videos to the mix. I keep track of the videos to avoid repeats. I've now posted 1337 videos on "Smile! (Groan?) You Know You Love These!, and still have 213 on the 'To Be Posted' list. It sometimes grows daily. I've posted songs by many of the groups on the 'To Be Posted' list, but there are about 40 video's by groups not posted yet. What does that tell you? Prepare to Laugh (Or Groan) and listen to the music!
I look forward to your post. Thank you.

It appears I have somehow come into possession of a Gold Plated Pokemon Card. No Idea how I got it. Found it in a bag that I I put those Hardy Boy's books in. That's the bag I took to the Estate Sale. Maybe it was in there. Since it's arms aren't raised, it was evidently created by Burger King, it's worth maybe $150. But on the flip side, it's arms are raised! The cards from the collection (with it's arms raised), are worth about $2000! WOW. It makes me wonder. This is what I found searching for it.

Based on your description, the item is almost certainly the 1999 Burger King 23K Gold-Plated Pikachu Trading Card.

This collectible was released as part of a promotion with Burger King in 1999 and comes in a clear plastic display case.

Key Details of the Item:
Description: The card features a metal, gold-plated Pikachu with one arm raised and the other down, often interpreted as an "action" or dancing pose.

Material: It is 23K gold-plated alloy, not actually made of paper.

Backing: It comes with a black plastic or cardboard backing with a certificate of authenticity. I have the plastic piece, but not the certificate of authenticity.

Value: These are frequently sold on eBay and Mercari, generally ranging in price from $20 to over $100 depending on condition and whether it has the original red and white Poke Ball container.

Rarity: While common in terms of production numbers, finding them in pristine condition with the original packaging is considered a "rare" find for collectors. It is in Pristine condition, but does not have the original packaging.

I would bet it's worth closer to the low end than the high end. I guess the only thing to do is to have it appraised.

Yesterday I had the chance to review an incredible story, "Navy Jet Accident Kills Two. Absolutely incredible writing by TeeGateM Author IconMail Icon. Recently, the crash of a KC-135 tanker in Western Iraq resulted in the deaths of all six crewmembers.
Please keep the family members in your prayers today, and always. Y'all take care of yourselves too, this world can be a dangerous place.
Wow Jim, Thanks!! Kind wishes, Tee

Want to see something that you'll find hard to believe? This is a 12 minute video, but what you'll see is unbelievable!
thanks for sharing this. I watched the entire thing and passed it on to my daughter who worked on an oil rig as the Fire Protection Eng. one summer while she was attending college.
Oh Wow! That's some giant plug hole! I think the compensation paid was nowhere near enough. I watched the whole thing, it was very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Dang. The link won't show up properly for me.
