Reading Conrad and London and Steinbeck I'm astounded by the craft of writing. I'm also more in tune with the themes. I've been interested in social justice for a long time, in humanity's social evils, and in other themes I don't yet know how to describe in writing. One of these is Eastern cultures and my experiences abroad.
