Here in my small South GA home, I write for a local newspaper. I tend to write a lot of poetry and I have also written songs. One of my songs is currently being recorded by a not so local, up and coming artist, whose family is deeply rooted in the music industry. (Wish me luck with that one!) Other than that, I'm just a regular old gal who has done a lot of living and learning. In my writing, I try to offer immediate gratification to the reader. If I've done my job correctly, you should only have to read an item once to "get it".
