I'm an academic and author from the UK, based in the northwest of England. Almost everything fictional is based in the world of Amnar  , or the wider world of Amaresh. Currently, I've got academic articles in peer review at the journals Material Religion and World Anthropology, and I'm working up a book proposal for the University of Manchester Press. I'm also working, very slowly, on a novel and articles for Studia Scandinavica and the BFS Journal. I work on vital ecology, materiality, and (mostly) ancient magic.
