Maria Rusu is a teacher, a translator but as she herself said, not a writer although she has always loved to teach her students how to write stories. She has been teaching English and French as secondary languages in Romania and Canada, the country which adopted her 20 years ago. She lives in Montreal with her daughter and their two lovely cats, Rosy and Minou.
