I am a single mother of 2 beautiful daughters & I have been a volunteer firefighter/EMT for over 13 yrs. I started writing when I was in elementary school with short stories but then as years passed I found poetry was what I liked writing the most. I like to write about experiences I have had or that I have watched close family members or friends go through. I'm not 1 to follow rules when it comes to writing. I just put my pen to paper or fingers to keyboard & see what comes out.
