I have been writing seriously for the last four years and just recently finished my first novel, Scheherazade of Thursday Nights. Belonging to a writer's group here in Dubai has made all the difference in my writing, and I recommend it for everyone, either on- line or face-to-face. Get up and write something everyday. No matter what you write - a synopsis, an outline, a character description, dialog, a review - eventually you will use it.
