Semi-retired biologist, attorney and academic. Spend most of my time running rivers, exploring swamps, and hiking in mountains and deserts. I have an old fashioned streak and much of my correspondence and journaling is still done with pen and paper, usually with ancient fountain pens and liquid ink. I find that my vocabulary is about 20% larger when I write by hand than when I use a keyboard. I live in southeast Texas on an oxbow off a bayou. I find the alligators and other critters inspiring.
