Status: aspiring novelist. I have a BS in creative writing and journalism, and an MFA in fiction with a concentration in literary publishing. My writing forte is fantasy, magical realism, speculative fiction, and vignettes. I have a fantasy short story published in the online lit mag, Separate Worlds, and a forthcoming CNF essay in the online lit mag, Diverse Voices Quarterly. I also write reviews for the online lit mag, Coal Hill Review, and am the reviews editor for Weave Magazine after a stint as an editorial assistant. This portfolio experienced an overhaul and is slowly rebuilding. It's where all my experiments will go for feedback.
