In Fast Motion

When the frenzy of desire takes over.

Our faces so close
Our eyes fixated
Our heads tilted

The lights have gone dim
There’s no definition to this space
No walls to be perceived
Only the space in-between
Your body and mine

A brief second
Becomes infinite

When lips meet with lips
Want no longer to be contained
Now time moves like a flash flood
It rages like fire

The heart devouring what it desires
All hesitation abandoned
It is consuming absolute
It engulfs

The current moves so fast now
Frantic and fevered by want
The lights blur as they spin
Around the room

There is no longer an I
No longer a you
There is only this singular moment

The moment now burned
Into my existence
