Such
Is the dream

Standing
Upon the shore
Seeing beyond
All that was before
Out there
Past horizons
Out there
Into nothing
Feared
That’s where
I wish to be
So the dream
Always

Never to suffer
In that place
I won’t falter
I’ll have relief
The past gone
The future home
Beyond skin
Beyond bones
Only this soul
Will go
All that is left
Will remain
Always
Be free
I’m ready to see
I’m not afraid
Of what
It’ll mean
I deserve more
Than this
And unlike before
I know it
I’m ready
Always
Be free
An existence
Devoid of fear
Absent of all
That was before
And all
That can again
Be nevermore
The dream
Repeatedly
In my head
In my heart
Standing
Upon the shore
Seeing beyond
All that was before
Knowing
That out there
Is where
I’ll come to be
Where I’ll have peace
Where I’ll find home…
