Will I run
Broken back in a much different time
Once under another man’s thumb
I was forced to flee in order to escape
There was no other reasonable way
Leaving behind all that was so loved
But I always knew that I would not
Be followed into the perilous light
Those of the past are chained to that fate
I’m certain for them there is no escape
I once received the narrowest of chance
And I had to take all that so many risked…
