Morning Sensations

A lovers waking thoughts.

Laughter rings through my ears as I open my eyes to discover the piercing light of the horizon dawning upon me. A voice in it's softness calls out to me like the honey sweet melody of a beautiful siren.
I feel the warm energy passing through us as her touch passes over me. Little bursts of excitement and curiosity dance within the small spaces between us.
I can taste the thin layer of poison that rests gently on her lips as a tingling sensation playfully ventures through the labyrinth of my consciousness.
Her vanilla sweet aroma entraps me in it's presence.
It takes all my being to hide my smile, but I gladly give in to weakness. Only because I know this is where I belong...
