Never upset a tomato
It's a rotten thing to do
You'll bring him to a boil --
He'll be red through and through

If you upset a tomato
Here's what you ought to do:
Just smile and say you're sorry
While he simmers in the stew

Luckily he's a softie
Or so it rather seems --
In time he will forgive you
And puff away his steam
