Coach looked at Mike as the now-big center finally put down his fork, and figured that Mike must have gained 200 pounds. His formerly well muscled 220 frame was now draped with fat in every direction. Fat hands connected to fat arms that dived into fattened shoulders. A fattened neck led down to a chest whose formerly firm pecs now drooped all the way down to a monsterous belly, which had replaced a formerly firm six pack. Mike's butt was so fattened that it stuck out on either side of the chair, and his fat thighs pushed his legs apart as he sat. At 220, Coach had thought Mike too thin - but he'd imagined him with another 20 or 30 pounds, not another 200! How was he ever going to whip this crew of lardballs back into fighting trim.
