"Hey, listen!" said William as the obese fox tried dragging him down a hall in the mansion. "I've been traveling all day and I'm exhausted. Maybe I can take up your dessert offer another time? I'm dead on my feet."
Matthew turned his head and gave a suspicious look to William. "Alright, fine. I guess I'll have dessert alone tonight. As usual. But at least spend the night here. I never have that many visitors and I have plenty of guest rooms."
"If you're offering, I'd love to spend the night here. It sure beats staying at one of the local inns." Matthew hollered for a servant. A moment later, another orange fox appeared. A slim and trim fox donning only leather briefs appeared.
"Take him to one of the guest room. I'm off to have dessert." Matthew then addressed William. "Good night, William. I will talk with you later."
William followed the servant fox down a series of hallways, wondering why the servant was so scantily clad. But before he could ask any questions, they had arrived at the guest room he'd be staying in. It was furnished with a plump bed, a fireplace with a roaring fire already started for him, and washing basin.
Our adventurer turned to thank the servant, but he was already gone. So William shut the bedroom door behind him, undressed, cleaned himself in the basin, and went to bed.
