The book immediately began to glow as a strange pendant on a gold chain appeared lying in the page. An eerie chorus of voices rang out:

"The power lies within your inner choice, wearing this pendant will give that need a voice. If fantasy is your wish to become true, the spell will grant this but your life will begin anew. If you wish for super science and the future, this magic will form that pact but be clear, there will be no turning back."

The book then stopped glowing and the pendant remained, beckoning me to put it on. "Talk about 'watch what you wish for'." Shuddering, I said. "All I have to do is put this on and my life will change forever."

What am I to do??
