Wear the pendant.

After much hesitation, I decided to wear the pendant. What could it hurt, right? The second I allowed the pendant to hang loose around my neck, it began to glow brighter and brighter until I could not see anything but a soft white light all around me. Strangely, I was not afraid. I was just confused and curious as to what would happen. When the light finally faded away, I noticed that both the pendant and book were gone.

Only that was not what concerned me. I stood in shock at my bedroom. It had changed into...
