I wanted to see how much power the device in my hand really had. If it shrunk Matt to the size of a child it could probably do even better. With my son still sleeping like an ox this was the perfect time to find out. Once again I aimed the remote at Matt, this time I pressed the button and held it down for a few seconds. The results were even better than I had hoped for. I watched in excited as the remote did it's work.
My already small son was losing inches by the second now. It was almost if the beam was slowly eating away his body. If I hadn't stopped firing Matt would probably have ended up the size of an ant or smaller. Making my son the size of a bug was not something I was looking forward to, so I waited till he was a few inches tall and stopped firing. The process took another few seconds, but I was happy with the results.
On the bed lay a doll size man, with a pair of boxers that probably were like a tent to him now. I put the remote in my pocket and slowly reached my hand out to the tiny person. I carefully pinched Matt's body and sat him on my palm. As I hovered him up to my face I could hear he was still snoring, it did sound high-pitched and I had trouble not to laugh. He was so tiny and delicate, not much smaller than a barbie child doll.
"Tina would love to see him like this," I thought to myself. And why not? It would be fun to see her daughter's reaction when she shows her her shrunken brother. Then again it would be even more fun if Tina found Matt herself. No time to waste, so I quietly made my way out of my son's room and peeked into my daughter's room. Tina was still asleep, lay on her back dressed in boxers and a tight shirt. Looking at my palm I saw Matt hadn't woken up yet. Perfect!
