As quietly as possible I entered my daughter's room. Tina wasn't much for cleaning up her room and clothing was spread all over the floor. After giving my kids a little brother/sister time I would make sure to teach my daughter a lesson or two about cleaning up after herself. Even if I had to do it the hard way. With a little maneuvering I had made my way to the bed. I leaned over my daughter, planning to put her brother on top of her when all of a sudden she moved!
I was about to run for the door, just to keep my shrunken son out of sight, but I didn't have to. Tina was still asleep and just rolled over to lay on her belly. Matt hadn't noticed anything, he was still snoring in the palm of my hand. Although I was glad my daughter hadn't woke up yet, I was a bit disappointed that she turned over. I could put her shrunken brother on her back, if I did he would probably get crushed.
Now I wanted to continue my plans, but this was a little setback. I couldn't just wait for Tina to turn over on her back again. She could wake up in the meantime, or Matt would. I had to find a way to fix this before they woke up and without risking of disturbing their sleep myself. Wait a minute, why bother waiting if I could just adjust their sizes! I had the power so why wouldn't I put it to use?
I took the remote out of my pocket and thought about my next step. Matt was already small so I didn't have to change his size, or maybe it was fun to do a little reverse? It could be fun, but I could also shrink my daughter a little, adjust her position and grow her back. Now I had to choose or they would both wake up before I had come to a decision.
