Born and raised in Kanawha County, WV, the fifth of six children, I can't say my love of writing began early but my love of reading did. Divorced in middle age with a need to vent some strong emotions, I turned to the "pen". I liken the writing process to birth: First you must conceive the idea, then nurture it until the time comes for birth in all its glory, and you couldn't be prouder. There is nothing more satisfying than creating with words your legacy to leave to the world.
