I love words, language, expression, stories. I love reading poetry, especially the kind that stops your heart with the genius of its language. A voracious reader, I enjoy all sorts of genres. I work in a bookstore, and nothing could make me happier! I appreciate technological advances made in recent years, and how electronic readers have revolutionized reading for many people, but I will never stop loving the heaviness of a book in my hand. I write mostly creative non-fiction pieces and occasional poetry, but would love to learn more about writing fiction, mostly because fiction scares me! I try to do things I am afraid of. :)
