I was a renowned artist and published poet who had a desire to paint bigger pictures. So I went back to writing. My belief is a story should be told as if it's being told around a campfire. Not overly complicated or descriptive. Just enough detail to give the reader's imagination a place to start. While, at the same time, leading them through the maze of characters and situations you've taken the time to craft and weave for them.
