I occasionally write poetry when the mood strikes me, mostly when I am bored and want to say something silly to my sisters (lymerics are my specialty). I really enjoyed what little exposure I had to creative writing in my Journalism class in high school and English 101 and 102 in college, but never went any further even though my professor wanted me in his creative writing class. I wish I had done so. I would like to get into writing short stories or some sort of fiction and satirical essays. I aspire to write like Joseph Heller. He's so awesome. I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback!
