I've been away from this site for awhile and had actually stopped writing altogether until recently when I started to take part in a writing group. We take turns coming up with an opening line once a week and we each write our own thing using that line. It is a lot of fun and has made me remember how much I like this whole literary business...even if sometimes it's just plain silly. I am effectively a newbie again.
