I'm living in the extreme northern part of the US and I am starting the trudge through a long, dark winter. I do not claim to have expertise in foreign policy because I can see Canada from my living room (but then when that there PM raises his head....). I'm a medical professional and am starting to write again after a long layoff. I also love to read and look forward to reading what others are writing on this site. My interests are short story and poetry. I also like jazz and blues.
