I love to write, but other than the English courses I took for my Registered Nurse associate degree I have no formal training. I started writing a fiction novel based on my true life experiences from living in South America for 3 years, but I would like to improve my skills and network with other writers. I have been happily married for 15 years, and we have two daughters. I love animals, downhill skiing, and reading the classics (favorite author is Jane Austen). I haven't had much time to read over the last several years because of work, home, and family demands, so I'm out of touch with current trends in books.
