I retired from public education a few years ago and found lots of time to indulge in writing - especially when locked down during the pandemic. With no formal training, my style of writing is like sitting around a campfire and telling a story. I start with a "what if" scenario and let the story unfold as I write. Sometimes it's like watching a movie in my head and I record what I see. I've looked into several online writing sites and WDC recently caught my interest. I'm still learning my way around and was pleasantly surprised at the constructive feedback and encouragement.
