I've been writing since I could pick up a pen and consider myself a poet. I've written 5 novels, 8 short stories and dozens of poems. My favorite subjects to write about are the environment, man's struggle to find his purpose, and disasters. For a living, I write sales ads, web content and articles for clients around the world. I work disasters for FEMA as a contract housing inspector and was a first responder to the Katrina disaster. I enjoy hurricane season. It usually takes me to warm, tropical places.
