About her broken heart.

He cannot bear the pain of loss
His heart feels full of holes
And so it is, as it lies broken
In pieces on the floor

The one he loves has shunned him
His pain fills his eyes
Flowing into the hearts of others

Her heart is breaking to look at him
She falls in love with his hurt
She wants to help relieve his pain

So she picks up the needle
And threads her love through
Determined to repair his heart

And when she is done
He pockets it and leaves
Breaking her heart with his
