Give into the pain
That hides deep inside
Seek refuge in the familiar
The darkness I can't hide
Forget the light of day
The people and their way
Nothing matters anymore
Nothing they can say
So slip into that darkness
That old familiar tug
Take out the shiny blade
With a small and silent shrug
Let it slice the flesh
Let the blood flow free
Spilling out the pain
