After staying home two days with a cold, I finally managed to get up and go to school.

Things go blurry
Hurry, hurry
Classes passing slowly

Throat sores
Test scores,
Runny nose
There he goes
Now I'm getting sleepy

Light headed
Books to be read,
Coughs erupt
Stop abrupt
The world is spinning around me

Heart beating
Racing, speeding,
Gripping tightly
Stepping lightly
This school is getting scary

Arms are aching
I'm not faking
Stomach's queasy
Should've gone easy
On the pushups I did last night

First in the morning
Man, this is boring,
Things get hazy
I'm going crazy
I shut my eyes, goodnight.
