The struggle between life and the world that we live in

In my life there is sunshine
Beautiful and bright

In my life there is wind
Comforting and strong

In my life there are rainbows
So full of color and light

In my life there is grass
Soft and always growing

Yet in my world there is rain
So cold and so sad

In my world there are clouds
Trying to take my light

In my world there is hail
Here to hurt and destruct

My life or my world
Which one will prevail?

My life I have chosen
My world I was given

I choose beauty and light
The world cannot take what I will not let it
