This form has a rhyme scheme: a/b/a The line in the middle is enclosed between the a-rhymed lines… This form also requires iambic pentameter. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cha-ching! I gamble every day but cannot win. There is no way I’ll ever get ahead. Cha-ching! The coins are quickly falling in. I labor every day but don’t know why. There is no way I’ll ever get ahead. Cha-ching! The days are quickly passing by. I go to church and tithe my ten percent. There is no way I’ll ever get ahead. Cha-ching! Perhaps it’s better heaven spent. I try to put my money into stocks. There is no way I’ll ever get ahead. Cha-ching! I guess I should have bought some rocks. I think that making money's not the key. The best of ways may not be get ahead. Cha-ching! I should be happy being me. |
