The Angel Looking In

The angel sits in the snow
on the roof
across the street
from the woman in the house.

The angel is proud
as she sees
every good deed
that goes on
even through the festive season
when most forget
that some are not so happy.

Others may not notice
or even care
how many hearts
she touches.

All that matters, really
is the lives
that have changed,
because the woman
sits at her computer
finding numerous ways
to touch others' souls.
