Inspired by Psalm 91:1-4, this poem reflects on the protection of God. |
| In Christ there is safety; in Christ there is rest. In Christ my redeemer I'm happy and blessed. For when I am frightened to Him I can go and He will on me His blessings bestow. I'm under His shadow; I'm under His wings. When there is danger, still my heart sings. My shield and my buckler, my refuge is He I know I can trust Him for He cares for me. A refuge, a fortress, a place I can hide. Under his feathers I safely abide. When I am with Him, I've nothing to fear, for nothing can harm me when Jesus is near. He is my God, yet He is my friend. I've learned to trust Him His blessings to send. He will be with me though fears may alarm and He will keep me from every harm. |
