Even in shadow, every soul deserves healing and the chance to step into the light.

To walk in the shoes of the unrighteous is to step into a world where love becomes a curse disguised as a blessing. It is to taste sweetness that quickly turns bitter, to believe in a promise that was never meant to be fulfilled. Love, when it takes the wrong shape, blinds the eyes to truth and drowns out the warnings of reason beneath the deafening thunder of a desperate heart.

For a fleeting moment, it feels like sanctuary — a refuge where longing finally finds a home, however fragile, however false. But that moment fades, leaving behind not peace but torment. What begins as warmth becomes a shadow that clings, a fire that burns but never comforts. The heart, once convinced it was alive, now carries the unbearable weight of guilt.

This is the cost of misplaced love: a lifetime of facing choices made in blindness, and the painful knowledge that even the sweetest feelings can leave the deepest scars. Yet, even the unrighteous — flawed, broken, and misguided as they may be — still deserve a chance. A chance to rise from their mistakes, to find peace where there was once only turmoil, and to feel happiness that isn’t poisoned by regret.

For in the end, every soul longs for healing, and even those who stumble in the shadows are worthy of stepping into the light.
