Zooglea

A definition created 10-27-25

The writing class had a challenge to create a definition of a mystery word.

My choice:

ZOOGLEA - a noun - zooglea is the joy you feel when visiting a zoo


The first burst of zooglea covers yours you walk into a park full of once wild animals. To see giraffes, tigers, monkeys, elephants you are overwhelmed by the strange assortment of life forms.

Zooglea can also describe a feeling you get when seeing a moose in the wild, or a herd of elk, or meeting a bear on a backcountry trail.

Perhaps God said, “Gadzooks! What zooglea!” after he created the animals.
