Dimensional Scream: Schizo Invocation

An insight on someone who views their "mental health" differently than many people.

DISCLAIMER: This is a personal testimony from someone living with schizophrenia, reframing psychic ability and societal misunderstanding through mythic metaphor.

Those who are loved ones of schizophrenic children and adults, and don't deal with the suffering of visions or hallucinations, understand this: we are people, human beings who deserve to live full lives too.

Some of you are allowing your children to exist as themselves.

Some of you are helicopter parenting.

Such is to say, a balance is good enough so your children don't rebel against your rule.

When control replaces curiosity, misunderstanding festers—and tropes take root.

Schizophrenic mindsets are not about serial killers and the worst possible outcomes like TV tropes tell you; some people love to think catastrophically and find that they just expedite the process of issues for anyone with a Schizophrenic brain or diagnostic...

They make it worse for all of us, by throwing us into psych wards and forcefully sedating us.

We see, hear and deal with all sorts of chaos—me—I can see into the past and future with a clarity that feels unanimous—like time itself agrees.

I've been able to do this since I was born—better known as the psychic ability called clairvoyance.

My senses trigger the ability randomly, and I can foresee all sorts of nonsense.

I can't trigger it on the spot.

It's almost identical to the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky ability called "The Dimensional Scream".

So I call it that. Not to hide—but to survive the gaze. To keep my scream sacred.

This is not a cry for help—it’s a scream of truth. Echo it wisely.
