What happened with Rockefeller

Around the same time that John D. Rockefeller took control of the American media, he also took control of American medicine. When it was discovered that drugs could be produced from petroleum, America's largest oil owner ordered his army of propagandists to adjust reality accordingly.

Natural medicine, used for thousands of years, was suddenly classified as an alternative. Meanwhile, new petroleum-based drugs, highly addictive and patentable, were declared the gold standard.

After purchasing the German pharmaceutical company that produced war chemicals for Adolf Hitler, Rockefeller used his political influence to pressure Congress to declare natural healing modalities unscientific quackery. Rockefeller then took control of the American Medical Association and began offering large grants to top medical schools, requiring them to teach only his approved protocol.

All mention of the healing powers of herbs, plants, and diet was expunged from most medical textbooks. Doctors and professors who opposed Rockefeller's plan were crucified by the media, removed from the AMA (American Medical Association), and stripped of their licenses to teach and practice medicine. Those who dared to speak out were arrested and imprisoned.

When evidence began to emerge that petroleum-based medicines caused cancer, Rockefeller founded the American Cancer Society, through which he suppressed such information. Rockefeller is known as the founder of the pharmaceutical industry, and it is because of him that "medical error" is currently the third leading cause of death in America.

This is not an indictment of doctors: more than anyone else, they are under the grip of powerful lobbies. Every year, the pharmaceutical industry spends at least twice as much as the petroleum industry to influence laws, policies, and public opinion. Because of Rockefeller, the architect of American monopolies, no other industry has more power over our lives than big pharmaceuticals.
