A ship that is going to fly at warp speed. The first ship that will do this, the dangers.

“We have to fly at the speed of light? Are you insane!” engineer Palit said his hands were resting on the table top. His eyes were large as dinner plates. He was in the mess hall, along with others who work in the spaceship as well at the moment he was seated with the captain. Who at the moment was eating an apple pie.
Several heads turned his way as he said this. The people were aware of his fear traveling at the speed of light, but he hadn’t said this out loud, but today they would fly at this speed. The captain thought that he was joking around. She was sure that he was not serious aout their doing this. They were in the mess hall where the crew were waiting for the food to be prepared.
“I know, it is dangerous! But that is why we are assigned to allow the ship fly at this rate of speed.” Captain Johnter said she saw the blood drain from his face. The dangers that they would be facing would be great and she knew this. Captain thought he was joking as he so often did.
“I thought the scientist who suggested this was joking? He must have been!” Sidney Palit said as he looked at her, wished he hadn’t taken this mission. The pay was good. His wife and his kids would be set for life but he would be away from them for ever. He knew the dangers.”From the texts I read there were a great deal of dangers doing this. Decompression of the ship, or compression of the ship could also happen. The fuel could expand and fill the ship with its lethal components if the pressure grew in size and the pressure could exert its beyond what the ship had designed to maintain. We would be unable to communicate with the earth ships here.”
“He wasn’t and you knew this. Didn’t you?” Captain said as she took a fork full of apple pie. Wished she hadn’t sat with him, he was usually you could rely on make your day better with his banter of humor. But not in this case Today he hit sour note.
“I suspected it was impossible. I was given tests to do, I did not think this was really what we are doing here?” engineer he saw a pilot walk toward their table, he smiled and patted the seat beside him. .
“You passed them, didn’t you?” captain said as she looked at the pilot, smiled as she set herself down in the chair. The pilot had just shuttled in to docking bay hours ago..

The captain looked at another person in the mess hall. The mess hall was huge. There were people of all cultures here.Aromas wafted here from very sector of the world, The eathers wanted this to happen this way, so no one could day who has the rights to be here on this ship. Each nation contributed something to the ships design.
She paused looking at her as she sat down..
,”Captain, your sure you want to sit with him!” Jen said she wore a leather jacket, her hands were in drivers gloves. She brushed the red hair out of her eyes as she sat down. She laughed as she sat down with them.
“I want to be out of here!” the engineer said
“Take it easy! We know you will be safe. Don’t you?” Jan said as she lifted her cup up to drink.
“The crew knows what they should be able to do if they encounter any difficulties.” the engineer said.
“I know these things, but didn’t the scientist tell us any of this, Did he?” engineer said as he took a sip of coffee. He was not happy, he has been betting on the horses for the last two weeks. Jen suspected, but he shouldn’t worry. He was going to be away from the bookie and his people. His family would be safe from his activities.
“Is he arguing again?” Jen said.
“He hasn’t stopped!” Baxter the radar com said as he looked at him, he had a plate of fries, and liver with onions.
“What do you mean again?” engineer said, glared at him..
“Yes, I want to know why he is so worried about us doing this?” Aren’t you?” Baxter asked
“Maybe he owes too much to the bookie to have to pay him back, before he leaves the solar system. Felix!” pilot Jen said as she looked at the engineer.
“Wouldn’t it be possible that we will die doing this? The pressure that the fuel will exert on the sides of its container, The pressure could rupture the walls of the ship! Or the vacuum could crush us like a grape in a wine press,” Felix said.
Jen uncapped her coffee so she could drink it. “I don’t think, we’ll die doing this. Baxter!” Jen said as she turned to face him.
"I think, we’ll be okay doing this! I certainly hope so!” Baxter said. As he picked up his fork and knife to begin to carve the meat. The scent made his mouth water.
“So, why are you so sure. That we’ll die going here?” , Jen asks.
“I saw a tarot card reader, she told me this,” Felix said, as he looked into the pilot’s face.
Jen bursts out laughing at him, and said,”Is that why you’re so scared. Are the reading she gives perfect every time. I don’t think so!”
“So, that’s what makes you frightened is it! They say this and that. Does it always happen that they are right!” Baxter said as she looked at him, from her usual form was as it always was. Confident and sincere in her statements made here.
“There were spaceships that are flying at the speed of light! We have seen them and they are tiny in comparison to this monstrosity we are flying in,” engineer said.
“You know why our ship is this size. Don’t you! It has to be this size to contain and have us use the fuel we are using to fly at this speed,” pilot said as she rested her hand on his.
“These ships that are flying at this speed. They are smaller by far from our own ship. True but we haven’t seen whats under their hood have we?” Jen said as she winked at the engineer.
“Well? No!”
“So I think our ship is the right size for this to fly at the rate of speed!” Jen said as she looked at him, she pulled down on his baseball cap over his eyes, knocking his glasses off his nose.
“I suppose, so!”
“We tried to have them arrive at our space port. But they have rescinded our signal.” Jen said.
“We have been using SETI signal to speak with them, but they refuse to speak to us.” Baxter radar com specialist said as he sat down with them.
“I know this! But none of them repiied to our call?” Jen asks
“We haven’t been able to allow our scientists to make a ship smaller than what we have! We had been trying to design the ship from what we had found in Roswell. We are unable to replicate a ship like it. The pressure exerted on its engines is very strong; our metals are unable to match the strength of their own ship’s engine. That, is why the ship is going to do,” engineer said.
"Why is the ship so large. Because of what Einstien said about the theory of relativity, The ship would gain mass as it flies at this speed. The theory is all we have that allows us to try to fly at this speed. So, that's why it is that large. We have not been able to build the housing that they have used on their space ship to fly at this speed," baxter said as he looked at the engineer, and wished he hadn’t.

CHAPTER 2
Reaching warp speed

The captain and the crew of the bridge took their seats, strapped themselves into them.

The crew knew that they could be crushed like a grape upon reaching these speeds. The crew

felt a great deal of stress arrive upon their bodies.

We knew we could ill afford to reach these speeds and fly into anything there. The

propulsion that we were exerting would be enough crush us.

The captain looked at the helmsmen who had been sitting there, his face was white as

bleached flour. The helmsman brought up his hand up to show his thumb being up into the air to

indicate that they had reached the speed that they were supposed to reach.

We saw a spaceship mirroring our own flight path. They did not try and communicate

with us. I had my communication expert try to speak with them, but it was to no avail.

The man who was the boss of the underworld people his name was Assas had a

handlebar mustache strode toward the bridge. There were eight guard stationed at the door saw

him approach they stepped into his path. They were holding carbines to keep anyone off of the

bridge who wasn’t supposed to be there.

The man froze when he saw them move into his path. He brushed the nearest soldier’s

rifle from where it rested at the moment. The soldier began to shift a bit to still have the rifle rest

on the man’s body.

“You should stop where you are?” the soldier said, as a few of the others stepped into his path

to slow him down.

“I want to see the captain now!” he said as he glared at the guard holding the rifle on him. He

frowned.

“I don’t think she would want to see you? Wait right there!” the soldier whose barrel pointed at

him said.

“I want to see her, now! Do you understand me?” Assas snarled as he put his hand on the barrel

of the rifle to have it not point at him.

“Wait here, I will talk with her.” the soldier said as he walked over to a phone on the wall of the

ship to communicate with the bridge. He did not know what they were doing, but the captain told

them that no one should speak with her now, or disturb her from what she is doing presently, but

that was what the felon wanted to do now.

The phone in the bridge rang, the captain lifted it to her ear and spoke,”Hello, What is the

meaning of this disturbance!”

“Assas is here, he wants to speak with you! Should I show him in?” the soldier asked as he

peered at Assas standing there, hands at his side as if he was at ease with them being there

pointing guns at him.

“Yes, send him in!” she said as she looked at the door where he would come in on. The door slid

out of the way. The soldier lowered his rifle turned and shot her a salute that would have made

him top of the line in his unit.

Assas walked in, he scaned the room over saw a man seated at a table, with a wheel to turn.

There were buttons on this table. Another man was seated infront of a circle, which had a line

going through its middle, this line would rotate, there were dots on it. He heard a beeping sound

come from it, this man had a head set on. Another man sat beside what appeared to be a table

with marking dots on it, thte were handles on it that could be shifted to numbers at the moment

these numbers were at zero. Another person at with a headset on his face looked worried,

about what Assas could not guess at the moment.

The captain said,”What is so important that you have come here? Now!” She removered her

white gloves from her hands, so she could put them on her belt.

“I wanted to know what you were doing? My personal seemed to be worried about something

that was happening here! “ Assas said as he looked about the people here seemed at ease.

“They needn’t worry about anything at the present moment!” She said to him, she smiled

reassuringly at him.

“I see other spaceships here. But they don’t seem to awknowldge that we are here?” he said he

seemed a might confused about this happening. He seemed puzzled as did we.

“I know, but they have been doing this for years if not centuries.” she replied as in a gentle rebuff

to his questions, he was raising.

“If you have anymore questions, bring them to my attention, when I am not busy,” she said as

she stepped away from him.

He turned and walked toward the door leaving the bridge.

“He seemed pleasant enough, didn’t he?” the communication specialist said watching him

leave.

‘He was, just wanted to know what happening on the ship!” the captain said as she returned to

her seat,

Assas walked passed the guards stationed there, he did not do anything that suggested he

poised a threat to them. The guards relaxed.

Assas went into where he was supposed to be, he saw the people he was with relaxing and

talking amongst themselves. A few of them turned around to face him, they saw him take a

deep breath and blow it out through his mouth.

One of the people responsible for the ship to reach light speed looked over at him and

said,”Where did you go? You looked worried about something?”

“I was when you guys got silent and where looking at the gauges here, I wanted to know if we

were in danger of anything going wrong?” Assas said as he looked at her, her hair felt past her

butt, she has a remarkible figure. She went by the name Con. That’s what got her arrested. She

was dressed in a bodysuit, there was a metal belt which had on it the machines she was looking

at when he left them to find out what was going on.
