A Drabble (exactly 100 words) about a hopeless optimist.

As the saying goes, you can't win if you don't play. So Robert always plays. And he always loses. But he keeps trying because, as the saying goes ......

Sometimes a fee is required, but Robert always thinks "this time I'll win big." And he gets a little poorer each time.

There's a gray zone between being a hopeless optimist and a wretched fool, and Robert falls somewhere in that zone. Maybe there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but one must reach that end to find it. So, who knows. Maybe next time, Robert will win.
