Thomas Cromwell and his great grand nephew Oliver wake with each other’s monarchs.

Thomas Cromwell wakes to a courtroom scene,
And he cannot meet anybody’s eye-
-as Charles the First is then on trial as King-
When they ask him, “Mr. Cromwell, should he die?”

Oliver Cromwell wakes to his own head on the block,
And Henry VIII says his advice deceives,
And screams, “Mr. Cromwell, you deserve to die
For suggesting that I marry Anne of Cleves.”
