The Ark. Part 1
Once upon a time, In a land so far, Far, and distant Distant, remote
God was looking, Down at creation But what He saw there Gave Him a thought
"Why all those creatures Whom We've created, Turned evil, and good Is no longer sought?
Time to remind them He told the angels, SMS Noah, or Wire him a note"
The note thus stated: "We here command thee Thou shalt be building A three-deck boat"
"A boat on a mountain? What does God think? When there is no water, Enough to drink"?
And that, was what Noah thought, is odd But he could never Disobey God
"Take a pair of animals Of each type and kind And leave those ugly Dinosaurs behind
The rain will keep falling Forty days and nights And the water will cover The highest of heights
This is Our command Thou shalt not doubt Then, God hanged up It's over and out"
Noah, was dismayed And totally in shock Boats cost thousands and He had one buck
A loan from the bank Will help He supposed But it was Sunday All banks were closed
He called upon people To break the news The faithful, the atheists And the Jews
But before he's done Telling what comes after Those, rushed to hospitals Died there from laughter
Mocked at, and was called All kinds of names Filthier than the water Of Isis, and Thames
So, He had to carry All the work, alone Without even having A lousy iPhone
The few who helped him And his sons and wives Were to be spared The rest of their lives
Three years of working From dawn to dark The boat was finished And He called it the "ark"
In the ark, he waited For the promise of God And rain to pour And turn into flood
Part two will be delivered on demand. I can't disclose it all, as per Noah's request. Otherwise, he'll sue me in a higher court, because he is well connected there.
