Eight line poem |
| Write a poem about time crawling. When I was young—that was only yesterday, I could run, bend, kneel and with my children play. The years flew by, as quickly as a wink, No time to stop, catch my breath or even time to think. Today, I checked the clock to see if it had stopped. No visitors, not one upon my door has knocked. Time seemed not to have moved at all, The minutes moved so slowly, time itself just crawled. |
