You have broken me

Like frayed strings on a marionette doll,
Each insult leaves me
Sinking further to the ground

                             Debilitating
                             Mind Altering
                             Manic Producing

On bended knee, you promised to always care for me.
But your care turned to obsession.
You promised me: adventure, travel
Paris.

                             Romance
                             Pampering
                             The moon

But your lies cut deeper than any knife.
I find myself lying on the floor,
Scraping up pieces of my shattered soul.

When you're not near, I sail to places afar,
Away from you and everything you are.
One day, it'll be you collapsed on the dirt,
With your red liquid turning the dirt to mud.
And this time it will be coming from you, instead of me.
