Slacker

a slacker comes to a realization

Worthless try
why oh why
do I keep doing the same old thing.

What should I do?
Try something new,
and see what that might bring?

The old, I'd exchange.
I'm needing a change,
I've got a long way to go from here.

If my effort was better,
I'd be a go-getter -
but right now, I'm not anything near.
